To the editor:

Everyone knows how bad the economy has been to us all. At the stores, gas pump, etc. But you know it’s really bad when it comes down to taking things from cemetaries.

On Dec. 21, 2008, my husband and I recieved a call that a Christmas tree was taken from the grave of a loved one, who’s life was taken back in August. What ever happened to respect? This has really hurt our family to think someone would go that far. But it has to come to this.

Our family would like to take the time and inform whoever did this, “Merry Christmas and may God bless them.”

Thank you.
