Brownwood police are investigating several recent thefts.

Officer Joe Thomas was dispatched Monday to Burke's Outlet on a report that a female stole several items of clothing on Sept. 21, then returned on Sept. 30 and tried to steal a basketful of items.

Thomas was dispatched Tuesday to the 400 block of West Baker on a report that a 1998 Ford Explorer was stolen from its parking spot in front of the residence.

Officer Robert Lee was dispatched Tuesday to the 700 block of Avenue C on a report that several items were missing, and a relative who was staying there in the home is suspected.

Lee was dispatched Monday to Brownwood Regional Medical Center on a report that a wallet was missing and was last seen in a purse.

Individuals booked into the Brown County Jail between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday were:

Ashlyn Daniels, 17, Brownwood, public intoxication.

Edward Fields, 20, Brownwood, motion to adjudicate for sexual assault of a child.

Ty Goins, 30, Mansfield, motion to adjudicate for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.

Jacoby Martinez, 22, Brownwood, driving with invalid license.
