BRADY — The Early Lady Horns earned the team championship at Brady’s Heart of Texas Relays this past Thursday, amassing 162 points.
Event winners for the Lady Horns included Tuesdi Tidwell in the pole vault, who set a new meet record by clearing 12-feet, 6-inches. Tidwell also finished first in both the long jump and triple jump. Trinity Tomlinson also won three events — the 100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles and high jump. Jenson Hutchins was first in the 100 meters, Ellie Ryan won the shot put and the 4x100 relay team recorded the fastest time.
Placing second were Ryan in the discus, Lainey Speck in both the 100-meter hurdles and 300-meter hurdles and the 4x200 relay team.
Coming in fourth were Emily Jillson in the triple jump and Lauren Jesko in the shot put, while fifth-place finishes belonged to Parker Smith in the 200 meters, Meagan Richmond in the 1600 meters, and Katy Knox in the 300-meter hurdles.
Sixth-place performances were turned in by Hallie Brinson in the 100 meters, Hope Boswell in the long jump and the 4x400 relay.
