The Early Longhorns coaching staff will again be hosting a Longhorn Moms Football Clinic at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4 at Early High School.
“Last year we had a great turn out with the football moms clinic, so we decided to do it again,” said Early football head coach Blake Sandford. “We’re going to do even more stuff this year and let them know what’s going to happen when football starts for middle schoolers and high schoolers. We’ll also talk about hydration, sleep, practice plans, equipment, safety and general stuff about offense and defense.”
Activities will include:
• A tour of the facility (weight room, locker room)
• See the helmets and shoulder pads and other safety gear
• Learn about nutrition and hydration for two-a-days
• Hear from several coaches about offense and defense
• Learn about the expectations for your son and what to expect in regard to scheduling
•  Find out what your son might need separate from what is provided by the school
