ALBANY — The Early Lady Horns posted a 1-2 record during the Albany tournament, which was reduced to one day of action on Saturday.

Early dropped its tournament opener to Bronte, 25-21, 25-21, then rebounded with a 26-24, 19-25, 15-12 victory over Gorman. The Lady Horns then fell in the consolation final to Eastland, 25-18, 24-26, 15-11.

“We played really well, but we are still learning to play together as a team,” said Early first-year head coach Natalie Whitewood. “We’re making lots of improvements that we can build on.”

The Lady Horns (1-3) visit Clyde at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
