CLYDE — Bidding for their second victory of the season, the Early Lady Horns were denied in a 25-20, 25-23, 25-15 loss at Clyde Tuesday night.
The Lady Horns (1-4) were coming off a 1-2 performance at the Albany tournament over the weekend, where they defeated Gorman while falling to Bronte and Eastland.

Offensively, Kacee Gober led the Early charge with six kills trailed by five from Lainey Speck, four from Trinity Tomlinson, two each from Ellie Ryan, Emma Loven and Jenna Whitehead and one from Hope Boswell.
CyLee Tyson and Vance Cady Gordon dished out seven assists apiece while Speck, Ryan and Loven each contributed one.
Tyson and Loven served two aces apiece for the Lady Horns.
On the defensive end, Tyson and Loven collected six digs each followed by Tomlinson with four, White and Gober with two apiece and Speck with one.
Gober also tallied three blocks at the net.
Early is back in action Friday and Saturday at the Glen Rose tournament.
