DUBLIN — The Bangs Lady Dragons slipped to 1-5 in District 6-3A volleyball action as the second half of the league slate started the same way as the first — with a loss to Dublin.

The Lady Dragons were dealt a 25-22, 25-18, 25-8 road defeat Tuesday night.

“The first two sets were tight. We had a lead late in the first before they came back and won,” said Bangs head coach Kenny Prescott. “The second set was tied at 17 before they pulled away. The third we were gassed and they continued to play at a high level.”

Kyra Smith tallied five kills for Bangs, Halle Lance dished out seven assists, Marianna Alvarado recorded eight digs and Kenzie Baker finished with five digs.

The Lady Dragons will host Breckenridge on Saturday.
