KILLEEN - The Brownwood Lions ended a four-game skid Saturday at the Killeen soccer tournament, playing Harker Heights to scoreless tie.
Goal keeper Jakob Dorsett recorded 14 saves with no goals allowed for Brownwood.
On Friday, the Lions suffered  their third consecutive one-goal defeat, and fourth loss in row overall, 4-3 to Killeen Shoemaker.
Enrique Hernandez scored twice for the Lions while Zack Smith added a goal as well. Assists belonged to Smith, Pablo Palacios and Braden Bushnell.
Defensively, Caleb Woodcock allowed four goals and tallied five saves, while Dorsett finished with six saves and no goals surrendered.
The Lions (1-4-1) are off until Jan. 23 when they venture to San Angelo Lake View.
