BRADY — MaKayla DeLeon struck out 20 batters, and Early scored the game’s only run in the top of the seventh inning as the Lady Horns remained alone atop the District 6-3A softball standings with a 1-0 victory at Brady Tuesday.

Sydnee Shea singled to center field to start the seventh, then Kailee Love walked and DeLeon reached on an infield single to load the bases. Vance Cady-Gordon later drove home Shea on a sacrifice for the only run.

Further information on the game was unavailable.

The Lady Horns (13-3, 6-0) will host Bangs at 5 p.m. Thursday in a game that was rescheduled due to last week’s inclement weather.
