BANGS — The Bangs Dragons kept their postseason hopes alive with a 13-0 victory over the Coleman Bluecats in Friday's home finale.

Bangs (6-13, 4-5) tallied a run in the bottom of the first, added three more in the second and put the game away with nine runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Coleman (3-17, 0-9) mustered just a pair of hits off Bangs pitcher Austin Hall, who struck out three and walked one over five innings.

Eight Dragons finished with multi-hit games, as Bangs generated 19 hits. Hall and Steven Montgomery recorded three hits apiece while Colton Brewer, Zach Zink, Kadon Richards, Eli Carbajal, Payton Bible and Wesley Mitchell each added two. Ethan Sanchez also added a hit and a team-high two RBIs, while Montgomery and Brewer also drove in a pair. Hall, Zink, Richards, Carbajal and Bible chalked up one RBI apiece.

The Dragons will visit Early (7-10, 4-5) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, with the winner of that game securing the fourth and final playoff seed from District 6-3A.
