SAN ANGELO — The Early Lady Horns notched their sixth victory in the last seven outings, fending off a San Angelo TLCA rally for a five-set victory Saturday afternoon.

Early collected the 22-25, 25-22, 25-15, 20-25, 15-10 victory to improve to 13-11 overall.

Kacee Gober paced the offense with 11 kills trailed by nine from Ellie Ryan, six from Hope Boswell, four from Trinity Tomlinson, two from Taylor Summers and one from Kenzie Poindexter.

Vance Cady Gordon dished out 15 assists, Summers added 13 and Boswell and Alexa Portillo were credited with one apiece.

Gordon also served two aces while Summers, Portillo and Emma Loven contributed one.

On the defensive side of the ball, Tomlinson recorded 32 digs trailed by Loven with 27, Portillo with 26, Gordon with 20, Summers with 12, Haley Spieckerman with 11, Ryan with seven, Gober with four and Boswell with one.

Gober also logged four blocks with Tomlinson and Boswell netting one each.

The Lady Horns are back in action at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as they host Coleman.
