STEPHENVILLE — The Brownwood Lady Lions finished fourth at the Thrill of the Hill cross country meet in Stephenville Wednesday, their final meet before returning to Stephenville next week to compete in District 7-4A action.

The Lady Lions finished with 112 points, which left them behind district rivals Godley (62) and Stephenville (73), along with Killeen Ellison (102).

Darby Crysler was the top Brownwood performer with a sixth-place time of 13:34.93 followed by Audrey Boren (12th, 14:08.38), Izzy Lawrence (17th, 14:18.65), Mia Sharp (38th, 15:08.71), Naysa Leach (42nd, 15:20.13) and Alyssa Couey (48th, 15:28.65).

In boys action, the Lions came in 13th out of 14 teams with 314 points.

Competing for Brownwood were Roman McKibben (18th, 19:56.12), Conner Fitzgerald (83rd, 23:45.0), Jeremy Peel (91st, 24:59.0), Christian Kinzler (92nd, 25:00.48), Cameron Phipps (99th, 26:10.61), Brayden Yazell (108th, 29:30.52) and Mark Laing (109th, 29:59.66).

The District 7-4A cross country meet will take place Tuesday in Stephenville.
