Registration is now under way for the Brownwood Lady Lions Basketball Camp to be held July 16-19 at the main gym at Brownwood High School. The purpose of the camp is to teach young player fundamental skills and to improve their individual and team ability. Contests and league games will held daily.

Coaches at Brownwood High and Brownwood Middle Schools invite young people who will be in the second through ninth grades to enroll. Cost is $45, and information and forms are available at the high school athletic office.

Each camper will receive a T-shirt and other prizes, according to head girls basketball coach Nikki Heath. She may be contacted at 646-9549 ext. 2406 or 641-2637. Two sessions will be held, for incoming second through fifth graders from 8 to 11 a.m., and for incoming sixth through ninth graders from noon until 4 p.m.
