Bulletin Staff Report

With their 10th straight trip to the 7-on-7 state tournament assured, the Brownwood Lions will play host to 15 other high school teams today in a state qualifying tournament.

Two of the teams, Burnet and Bandera, have also clinched a place in the state tournament July 9-10 in College Station.

The Lions will play in three Pool A games at Brownwood High this morning. The schedule calls for the Lions to face Snyder at 9 a.m., Winters at 10 a.m. and Eastland at 11 a.m. — all at Field 3.
