Bowie scored three unearned runs in Thursday’s finale as it took advantage of three Brownwood errors.

Parsons went the distance on the rubber and allowed three hits and three walks with three strikeouts.

At the plate, the Lady Lion offense produced five hits. Parsons was 2-for-2, Shelbie Harry doubled and Neelie Darden and Hall singled.

“Our pitching was really good and our hitting is getting better, but we still have some kinks to work out,” said Lady Lions head coach Traci Pettit.

Brownwood (4-7) will start bracket play at 9 a.m. Saturday when it takes on Kennedale.
