The U-12 Bad Boyz soccer team recently competed in the Kick-It 3v3 Regional (State) Championship in Round Rock, winning the first place in the tournament.

The Bad Boyz went undefeated to claim the title, facing five championship teams from Texas and two more from Oklahoma.

The Bad Boyz are now gearing up for their shot at the world championship at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., where the nationís best will compete for the title in January of 2008.

The Bad Boyz are no strangers to the tournament as they took third place in 2005, losing only one game in the semifinals.

The Bad Boyz also won the regional title in 2006, but did not get to compete in Florida because of budgetary reasons.

Fund-raisers are currently being set up to assist the youngsters as they pursue their goal of returning home crowned as 3v3 soccer world champions.
