BANGS — The Bangs Lady Dragons posted a 3-0 record during pool play at the Lady Dragons volleyball tournament Thursday, and will be one of eight teams vying for the tournament championship Saturday.

The Lady Dragons knocked off Santa Anna (25-12, 21-25, 25-21), San Angelo TLC (25-19, 25-18) and the Brownwood JV (24-26, 25-20, 25-15).

“Overall, this was the best I’ve seen the girls play all year as a whole,” said Bangs head coach Meredyth Meador. “This was the first tournament where we’ve put three good games together. We got down at times, but the girls were able to overcome.”
