ALBANY The Early Lady Horns improved to 6-3 with an 86-51 win over Albany here Tuesday.

Early led 23-6 after one quarter, 47-23 at halftime and 62-32 after three periods.

The Lady Horns were led by 13 points each from Tresta Donahoo and Sydney Skeen, 12 from Angela Sanderson, 11 from Brittany Wilson, 10 each from Sarah Russell and Bailey Harris and nine points from Julia Loudermilk.

Early will face Gatesville Thursday in the opening round of the Dublin tournament.

Lohn 29

MAY The May Lady Tigers improved to 2-3 on the year with a 37-29 home win over Lohn Tuesday.

Down 25-17 after three quarters, the Lady Tigers outscored Lohn 20-4 in the final eight minutes to rally for the victory.

Allyse Ballard led May with 14 points, followed by 10 from Alessa Brown, six from Emily Murphree, five from Heather Starnes and two points from Kendall Thornhill.

May Tigers 49, Lohn 44

MAY The May Tigers opened the season with a 49-44 home win over Lohn here Tuesday night.

May led 13-12 after one quarter, 30-26 at halftime and 41-35 going into the fourth period.

Mikey Dickerson led the Tigers with 16 points, followed by 14 from Nathan Howard, eight from Conner Murphree, five from Cody Brown and two points each from Ian Jacobson, Matt Pruitt and Jeremy Phillips.
