BRADY — Funeral services for Karen Kay Ellison Campbell, 47, of San Angelo will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady, with the Rev. Alan Delafield officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

She died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, in San Angelo.

She was born March 1, 1961, in San Antonio, to Roy Ellison and Fay (Truitt) Lawler. She graduated from Howard College with a Nursing Degree. She was a registered nurse, and worked at Shannon, Baptist Memorials, Park Plaza and The Development Center, and was a Travel Nurse in the Houston area. She was a Methodist and a lifelong resident in San Angelo.

Survivors include her mother, Fay Lawler of Brady; fiancé, Duane Connell of San Angelo; daughters, Katherine Pearce and husband Kevin of San Angelo and Kayla Heckman and husband Michael of Millheim, Pa.; soon to be sons, Tawny and Brian Branaman and Trevor Connell of San Angelo; brother, Jimbo Ellison and wife Shauna of Midland; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.
