Early's Tim Wade will be attempting to break the world record for consecutive standing back handsprings Friday night during the Early-Bangs football. Miranda Ferguson of The Hockaday All-Girls School in Dallas set a new record in the Guinness Book of World Records earlier this month with 35. Wade performed 37 on a whim during last week's Grape Creek game, which was videoed on an iPhone. Wade's father, Robert, will send video footage to the Guinness Book of World Records following Friday's performance, which is one of the ways the accomplishment can be documented. The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Longhorn Stadium in Early.
