Donald Wayne Jackson age 66 of Brownwood passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 26, 1946, in Brady, Texas, to Edgar Roy and Annie Lee Jackson. He worked for Pepsi for 25 years, and loved bingo and camping. He was married to the love of his life Sharon Holster in Brownwood on Dec. 9, 1966. Donald loved everyone and everyone loved him.

Donald is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Robert Jackson and wife Susan of Zephyr and Roy Jackson and wife Laura of Brownwood; two daughters, Missy Gowin of Bangs and Crystal Welker and husband Coy of Brownwood;13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bertie Powell and husband Melvin of Brownwood and Shirley Powell of Brownwood; two brothers Larry Jackson and wife Debbie of Brownwood and Alvin Jackson and wife Katherine of Lampasas; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Edgar Lee Jackson and Thomas Lee Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Cal Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Zephyr Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Blaylock Funeral Home.
