While the National Go Red For Women Day has passed, members of the Brown County Heart Association encourage residents to continue to “go red” Fridays in February.

The “Don’t Cheetah Your Heart” T-shirts designed by Willie’s T’s are still available to purchase for $10. The funds raised from these shirts will be used advance research, education, prevention and treat heart disease, which is the No. 1 killer of women,. Five dollars from each shirt will go to the American Heart Association.

T-shirts are available at Citizens National Bank, Dazzling Diva’s in Heartland Mall and K-LeShae’s Florist and Gift Boutique, 119 Early Blvd.

The Annual Brown County Heart Gala will be held Saturday, March 2, at the Brownwood Country Club.
