The fields are set for TTAB state tournament play.
The 8U Boys Machine Pitch tournament will be held at the Massey Sports Complex, while the Early City Park will host 8U Player Pitch event. Both tournaments start Monday at 6 p.m.
The Brownwood Giants and Brownwood Cardinals are serving as hosts for the Machine Pitch tournament, while the Early Red Sox won their district to earn hosting rights for the state championship tournament in Player Pitch.
The coaches meetings for both Early and Brownwood will be today, which will determine the schedule for the week’s games. Thirteen teams are converging on Brownwood for this week’s action, while five teams are making the trip to Early.

Teams competing in TTAB 8U Player Pitch tournament include the Early Red Sox, Copperas Cove Rangers, Cameron Astros, Bosqueville Warriors, Eustace Mullins, Malakoff Orioles.
The TTAB 9U state event will be held in Eastland and will feature a 12-team field including the Bangs Indians, Bangs Rangers, Eastland Longhorns, Ballinger Orioles, Ballinger Colts, Winters Bears,Winters Vipers, Hawley Cowboys, Hawley Chargers, Colorado City Cubs, Colorado City Rangers and Presidio Braves.
Other area teams competing across TTAB state play this week include the Brownwood Royals, who travel to Ennis to compete in Boys 12U state championship.
In 14U play, the Brownwood Athletics and Brownwood Mustangs are both state qualifiers and begin play in Hillsboro Monday.
The 15U TTAB tournament in Ennis will be comprised of teams from Brownwood, Ennis, Miles, Anson, Breckenridge, Roscoe, Stephenville, Comanche, Monahans and Grapeland.
All tournament play starts Monday night at 6 p.m. and concludes Thursday and Friday July 25-26.
