The Early High School Band will be holding their Third Annual March-a-thon beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at Early High School. The route will go south of the High School on Sudderth to Sunset Dr., then down Broken Arrow and Sundown Streets. After that they will move around toward Meadow Glen and Rainbow, across Hwy. 377 near Mi Familia, through the areas of Grandview and Crescent Drive, ending around 10 a.m. at Sonic. Around 11a.m. the band will perform at CARE Nursing Facility, located off hwy. 183. After the concert, they will head to Blanket to march at 2 p.m. in the Frontier Days Parade. This event is one of the EHS Bandís big fundraisers for the year. Monies are raised through donations to any EHS Band student or along the route of the March-a-thon. All donations will help send the EHS Band to Orlando in June.
