COLEMAN ó Funeral services for Mary Teresa Horton, 63, of Brownwood will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel in Coleman, with Pastor Jerry Chastain officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the services at the funeral home.

She died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.

She was born Aug. 10, 1950, in Tyler, Smith County, to Mae Evelyn Shelton St. Clair and Robert Page St. Clair. She worked as an upholsterer for many years. She worked at Allsupís as an Assistant Manager. She was married to George Allen Horton Aug. 10, 1994, in Coleman. She was a member of the Coleman County Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Hamill of Brownwood; son, Clifton Paige Brazier of Keene; her mother, Evelyn St. Clair of Arlington; four brothers and sisters, Robert St. Clair and wife Kim of Abilene, Christopher St. Clair and wife Sandi of Waxahachie, Evelyn Blanton of Alvarado, Mary Nell Ryan of Warr Acres, Okla.; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Page St. Claire; first husband, Jimmy Don Blanton; second husband, George Horton; a son, Michael Jo Blanton; and four brothers and sisters.
