In a game to determine the second and third playoff seeds from District 6-2A, the Bangs Dragons prevailed over the Early Longhorns, 64-46, Friday night at the Brownwood Coliseum.

Bangs (17-7) led Early (19-8) by a 12-6 count after one quarter, 29-20 at halftime and 44-31 through three periods.

Dragon Dalton Johnson scored 22 points to pace all scorers followed by 15 from Josh Truelove, 10 from Brayden James, seven each from Keegan Hall and Willie Calvin, two from Frankie Smith and one point from Chayne Burton.

Chase Riker tallied 18 points for Early trailed by eight each from Jonathan Moore and Bubba Reno, four apiece from Colin Walker and Jakob Morgan, three from Brady King and one point from Josh Benson.

Bangs will meet Reagan County in the bi-district round Tuesday at a time and site to be determined, while Early will face Kermit at Angelo State at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
