Jill Evans with Family Services located at 901 Ave. B in Brownwood, Texas, recently visited with the Early in Action group at the Dairy Queen location in Brownwood. Jill Evans spoke with the group about some of the services the Family Services Center offers to help build healthy families together in our area. Some of the services offered are Parenting Classes, Counseling, Anger Management, Mediation, Battering Intervention and Prevention and Adult Literacy tutoring. Family Services will also assist you in connecting and locating community resources that are available in meeting your needs. Childcare services for all clients are provided at no cost. Clients without means of transportation are able to call for assistance for transportation to the facility. Evening appointments and classes are currently available. Family Services provides services at little or no cost. However, donations are accepted and are tax deductible. The Early in Action is a group of professionals that get together every fourth Wednesday of every month to network and talk about things that concern the community.
