COLEMAN — Memorial services for Bobby “Bob” James Weaver, 75, of Coleman will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fellowship Baptist Church, with Brother Steve Nickell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Coleman.
He died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at his home.
He was born May 28, 1938, in Coleman County, to James Monroe and Estelle Stanphill Weaver. He served his country with the U. S. Navy. On Jan. 6, 1979, he was married to Carol Hood in Coleman. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and retired in 2000 from the City of Coleman.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Weaver of Coleman; two daughters, Lissa Weaver of Durant, Okla., and Susan Weaver of Corinth; two sons, Lance Weaver of Payson, Ariz., and Justin Weaver of Durant, Okla.; three sisters, Roann and husband Mac Pevy of Minden, La., Bessie and husband James Bomar of Bryan, and Shirley Crisley of Horseshoe Bay; brother, Raymond D. Weaver of Novice; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
