BRADY — Funeral services for Rua Lavada Ewing, 76, of Brady will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Burial will be in Voca Cemetery in Voca. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels.
She died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in San Angelo.
She was born Oct. 3, 1937, to Quillar Lee Spencer and Alice Mae (Patton) Spencer. She was married to Billie Calvin Ewing in 1959 in Brady. She was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Community Church in Brady.
Survivors include her sons, Alben Ewing and wife, Belinda, Charles Ewing and James Ewing; daughter, Cathy Jones; brothers James Patton and wife, Lois, Osa Spencer
and W.K. Spencer; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two grandchildren; and her son-in-law.
