Justin Brown, the victim of last week's rollover accident outside of Early on US Highway 67/377, remains in ICU at Scott and White in Temple.
According to his wife, Tara, he has had one surgery repairing damage to the C1 and C2 vertebrae.
"They placed two rods and four pins in his neck," she said, "and he has a badly bruised lung."
She said he remains heavily sedated, because as he begins to regain full consciousness, Brown becomes very confused and agitated, creating risk for causing further damage.
"They are intentionally slowing the process," Tara said "so it may be a couple of more days before he completely comes out of the sedative."
Brown is employed by Blue Stream Telecommunications as a cell tower climber and his has been the family's only source of income. As a result, a special account has been opened in his name at the Mills County State Bank, located at 3101 E. Austin Ave. in Brownwood, for those who wish to make monetary donations to help the family with expenses, including travel to and from Scott and White.
Brown has a six-year old daughter, Baylee Rene, and a seven-month old son, Justin Wayne.
