The Brown County Commissioners will meet Monday, November 3 with several items on the agenda, including the consideration and possible approval of action regarding the burn ban.

Currently Brown County is not under a burn ban, but according to Precinct 1 commissioner Gary Worley it's an important action item to keep on the agenda.

"We keep it on the agenda every meeting, so if we need to implement one we can," he said. "We'll discuss the topic Monday morning, but as of now, Brown County is not under a burn ban."

Other items on the agenda for Monday morning include the consideration and possible action on the reappointment of Robert Porter to the Brown County Hospital Authority Board, the possible approval of a replacement air conditioning unit for the jail and the possible appointment of a constable in Precinct 1.

The Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. in the Commissioner's Courtroom.
