Mattie Mae Faulkenberry Kinsey Duckett, 94, went peacefully to rest on Jan. 6, 2015 in Tyler. Visitation for Mrs. Duckett will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery.

Mattie was born on March 5, 1920 to Claude Richard Faulkenberry and Effie E. Rodgers Faulkenberry in Fischer County. She married James Kinsey on Nov. 9, 1936 and he later preceded her in death. Mattie married Wesley Duckett on May 21, 1992 at Lake Brownwood. He has also preceded her in death. Mattie worked as a housekeeper for many years at home and at the Heart of Texas Baptist Encampment at Lake Brownwood.

Mattie is survived by her sons, Billy J. Kinsey and his wife Kay, and Albert R. Kinsey and wife Mary; a son-in-law, Richard P. Logan and wife Melissa; her grandchildren, Janna Pasek and husband Shelby, Billy R. Kinsey and wife Stephanie, James Mark Kinsey and wife Tina, Randi Carr and husband Todd, Joann Logan, Michael Logan (deceased), Chris Kinsey, John Paul Logan and wife Chrystal, and Rikki Logan. She is also survived by her great-grandchilden, James Mark Kinsey Jr. and wife Vanesa, Myles Kinsey, Allison Carr, Sarah Garner and husband Zack, Kaylan Prasek, Cayden Carr, Anthony Hammack, Christian Kinsey, Nina Kinsey, Andi Kinsey, Shelby Hammack, Daphony Hammack, Adam Hammack (deceased), Ripley Estep, Cassandra Estep, MaKaylee Logan, MaKenzie Logan, Mykah Logan, Eastyn Logan, Cody Brock, Emma Bertrand, Maranda Bertrand, and Nicholas Bertrand (deceased); and her great-great grandchildren, Isaiah Kinsey, and Payton Kinsey.

Mrs. Duckett is preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, James Kinsey and Wes Duckett; and two children, Claude Leonard Kinsey and Margaret Logan. She is also preceded in death by three great-grandchildren.
