District Judge Jason Cashon

Experience: Erath County assistant district attorney 2000-2009; District attorney 2009-2012; District judge since 2012; board certified specialist in criminal law since 2009.

District Attorney Alan Nash

Education: Bachelor's degree in business management from Tarleton State University; Juris doctorate from Texas Tech School of Law.

Experience: Worked in private practice with Coan & Elliott law firm 2000-2012; appointed district attorney by Gov. Rick Perry in July 2012; elected to first full term as district attorney November 2012.

Warren St. John, defense attorney

Education: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice (with honors) from Sam Houston State University; Masters in Public Administration Program from Texas Christian University; Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law.

Experience: St. John has been a criminal defense attorney for 26 years and has been involved in more than 60 homicide cases.

Shay Isham, defense attorney

Education: Bachelorís degree in political science from Texas A&M; Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University.

Experience: Licensed to practice law in Texas since 1996; board certified in criminal law since 2004 and has been involved in eight murder cases. He is in private practice with the law firm of Glasgow, Taylor, Isham and Glasgow.
