COMANCHE — Graveside services for Jimmie Dean Adcock, 96, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Evergreen Cemetery in Gustine with David Giddings officiating. Comanche Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 at the funeral home.
She died Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 in Fort Worth.
She was born in Hamilton County on Aug. 13, 1918, to James and Novie McPherson. She was a life long resident of Hamilton and Comanche Counties growing up near Energy, attending school in Pottsville and living in Gustine for the last 62 years.
She married Boone Eddleman in 1939. He died in 1968 after 30 years of marriage. In 1970 she married Rob Adcock. They had been married seven years at the time of his death. She and Boone owned and operated a dairy farm. She then was the owner and operator of Eddleman's Cleaners in downtown Gustine.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Pat and Alvis Stuteville of Gustine and Sue and David Giddings of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.
