BRADY — Funeral services for Amie D. Lott, 86, of Brady, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Brady with the Rev. John Paul Peterson, the Rev. Vernon Jones and the Rev. Morris Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.
She died Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 in Brady.
She was born May 15, 1928 in Brady to Ruben Peterson and Bertha (Williamson) Peterson. She married Pete Lott in 1944 in Brady. She was director of the nurses at the Leisure Lodge for several years, director of Brady Head Start and a Walmart greeter. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons, Willie Raymond Lott and wife Patricia of Houston and Lawrence Miles Lott and wife Fay Kathryn of San Antonio; daughter, Genevia Lott of San Antonio; brothers, Ruben “Sonny” Peterson and wife Mary Ruth of Rankin, Sammy Peterson and wife Charley Nell of San Antonio, Robert Peterson and wife Mary Jo of San Antonio, Carl Frances “Dutch” Peterson and wife Grace of El Paso and the Rev. John Paul Peterson and wife Jackie of San Antonio; sister, Verona Garner; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Bertha Nell Phillips; and brother, Sherman Peterson.
