COMANCHE — Funeral services for Hazel Faye Connally Davis, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 13 at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gerald Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at Comanche Funeral Home. Lunch for the family will be at noon Friday at First Baptist Church of Comanche.
She died Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Comanche.
She was born Dec. 20, 1928, in Comanche County, to Charlie and Myrtle (Knight) Connally. On Aug. 1, 1947, she was united in marriage to James Wade Davis in Comanche. She was a homemaker and a member of Comanche Extension Homemakers in Comanche.
She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Henry of Comanche and Denise Hidrogo and husband Andy of San Antonio; one son, Michael Davis and wife Shondra of Comanche; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Tommy Connally and wife Fluerette of Comanche.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Buckler and Joyce Johnson; and brother, Charles Paul Connally.
