COLEMAN — Funeral services with military honors for William Jeff Justice, 92, of Coleman, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel in Coleman, with the Rev. Brad Slaten officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.
He died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Wichita Falls.
He was born Feb. 2, 1923 in Farmers Branch to Lee Marks Justice and Mattie John Hudson Justice. On April 11, 1945, he married Edwina Hane in southern California. He served in the United States Marine Corp during World War II, serving aboard the USS Gilbert Islands. He received the Naval Aviator Insignia, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with Numeral 3 Device, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with three Bronze Campaign Stars, the Philippine Liberation Medal as well as other medals and citations. He was a rancher and owner of Coleman Produce and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Coleman.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Blais and husband Richard of San Diego, Calif.; one son, Jeff Justice and wife Angela,of Wichita Falls; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife; and six brothers and sisters, Lee Mark Justice, Mickey Justice, Mary Michaels, Pat Justice, Joan Kelso and Hudson Justice.
