A Brownwood man was arrested after forcing himself into a residence and assaulting another male early Friday morning.
Randall Jefferson Frink, 36, was arrested and taken to Brown County Jail on a charge of burglary with intent to commit assault, according to Brown County Jail records.
Officer Brandon Johnson was dispatched to the 1500 block of Fisk Avenue in reference to a fight at 12:35 a.m., according to his report. The report also stated that the complainant wished to pursue charges, which led to Frink’s arrest.
On Wednesday morning, Brownwood police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Slayden Street, where officer Jeremy Seider observed, then identified, a man passed out in a vehicle, according to the officer’s report.
After a brief investigation and “multiple attempts to contact someone to pick up the male, who was identified as Daniel Tran Nguyen, the 24-year-old Brownwood male was arrested on a public intoxication charge, according to the report.
The report also states that Nguyen was transported to the Brown County Jail, where a hold for processing was placed on him due to behavior problems. Jail records state that he remained jailed on a $500 bond.
Aquatic Center vandalized
On Wednesday, the Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center was vandalized, and, according to Brownwood police officer Chandra Means, possible suspects are known but an investigation is still ongoing.
Others booked into the Brown County Jail between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday were:
• Randoll Gerado Berumen, 25, Brownwood, theft.
• Tiffany Ann Stoddard, 27, Brownwood, interfere with public duties.
• Robert Harley Welch, 24, Brownwood, driving while intoxicated, less than 2-ounce marijuana possession.
