Howard Payne Lady Jacket senior guard Danyel Bradley earlier this week was selected first-team preseason All-American by D3hoops.com.

Bradley, the 2014-15 American Southwest Conference Player of the Year, finished the regular season as the leading scorer in NCAA Division III women’s basketball at 22.3 points per game. Her 602 points overall were the most scored by an ASC player in a single season since former Howard Payne player and current head coach of the Lady Jackets, Meia Daniels, set the conference record in 2008 (649).

D3hoops.com named Bradley the South Region Player of the Year and a third-team All-American at the end of last season. Also, SmallCollegeHoops.com named her second-team All-American and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) tabbed her honorable mention All-American.

Earlier this semester, Bradley was named a Preseason All-American by Division III News / SmallCollegeHoops.com.
