The Early Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their Christmas Open House. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17.

This is an annual event hosted by the Early Chamber of Commerce to showcase chamber member businesses and to celebrate the holiday season. There will be spaces available to local businesses to showcase and sell their products and goods.

Shawn Russell, executive director of the Early Chamber of Commerce said, “We are all about ‘Shopping Local’ and supporting our hometown businesses.”

The event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce office building. There will be shopping, the Early Jazz Band and Choir will be in attendance, there will be Christmas Caroling, hot chocolate, snacks and plenty of door prizes. There will also be opportunities to donate toys to Toys for Kids and canned goods to Good Samaritan Ministries.

Local schools students will be singing and the EHS Jazz Band will be entertaining throughout the evening. Santa will be on-hand for a photo opportunities and plenty of door prizes will be given away.

Light refreshments will be served.

“Our goal is to bring the community out and support our local businesses, enjoy a night of fun and fellowship,” Russell said.
