BROOKESMITH — The Brookesmith school district “rang in’’ the Thanksgiving season with a Turkey Bowl on Wednesday, November 16. Standard bowling pins were set up at 40 feet in the old gymnasium.

‘Is anything too hard for the Lord?’
This was the question that the LORD had asked while visiting the tent of Abraham. Sarah, the wife of Abraham was apparently eavesdropping on the conversation that Abraham and God were having. Which, I think we all would have been doing if we were Sarah, I mean who wouldn’t have wanted to know what God had to say in that moment… As Sarah listened in closely, trying to be as secretive as she could, laughter began to flow out of her as she heard the words, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife shall have a son” (Gen. 18:9).
