Kelly Lane Zabel born July 15, 1980, in Brownw o o d , Texas left the earthly bonds of this world to soar among the stars for eternity. Kelly will always be loved and will never be forgotten. Kelly’s indomitable fighting spirit and soft, kind heart were the best parts of her. She is preceded in death by her Mama, Betty Frances Zabel, her Papa, Charles Zabel, and her beloved dogs Bo and Bandit. She is survived by her father and stepmother Larry & Phyllis Zabel, her mother and step-father, Karen & Eddie Croft, her siblings Rebecca Zabel-Brewer, Zane Zabel, Wayne Zabel Jr., Rachael Konkel, William Moore, and Carey Riley. Memorial services to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that a donation be made to NAMI of Central Texas in loving memory of Kelly Lane Zabel.

Bettie Jo “Lovie” Sypho 86, of Brownw o o d passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 12pm at Victory Life Church. Visitation will also be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 11am to 12pm also at Victory Life Church.

Kendall Ray Kent, 64, of Blanket, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Visitation with family will be held at Heartland Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 7, 2022. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM, Friday, July 8, 2022 in the Blanket cemetery, Blanket, Texas.

Ryan Lee Rogers, 40, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away on June 30, 2022. He was born June 22, 1982 in Brownwood, TX.

Alma Lee (Busby) Price was born on September 6, 1916 to wonderful parents, Robert Lee Busby and Mattie Jane Busby, in their home near Roby, Texas. She began her servant’s heart at an early age, caring for her younger cousins who all had farm chores before walking to school.

Rachel Oehler Hall, age 63, of Bangs passed from this life Friday, July 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at home. A Celebration of Life for Rachel will be held at 2:00 p.m.

Suzanne Fry Blount, age 77, was brought home by our Heavenly Father on July 3, 2022. She is joyfully reunited with her husband of almost sixty years, Louie Neil Blount, who preceded her journey on January 24, 2021.

Wesley Roy Adams, 45, passed away suddenly on June 29,2022, at his home in Addison. Wes was born May 8,1977, in Brownwood, to Steve and Cindy Adams. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1995 and continued his education at Tarleton State University and Texas Tech University.
