The Los Angeles Dodgers have reached an agreement on a Major League deal with relief pitcher Shelby Miller from Brownwood, according to a report from The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal on Tuesday. The deal is pending a physical exam, the Dodgers said.
Twenty-one players in 22 positions from Brownwood, plus head coach Sammy Burnett, were selected to the 2022 All-District 2-4A Division I Football Team by the district coaches. Brownwood dominated the superlative awards, winning of six categories.
