Lina Evelyn Graves, age 82, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 16, 2022. A visitation for Lina will be held from 6 to 8PM on Monday, June 20 at Heartland Funeral Home. The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.

Lina was born on July 2, 1939 to Stella and Oscar Johnson in McCullough County. She graduated in the class of 1958 in Early. She married Wayne Graves on June 20, 1958. Together they were blessed with their son, Donny Graves. Lina was a member of the Early First Baptist Church. She worked at Citizens National Bank as a bookkeeper for many years until she retired in 1990. Lina always loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Lina is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wayne Graves of Brownwood; son, Donny Graves and wife Rene of May; grandchildren, Brandon Graves and wife Charity of Blanket, and Dustin Graves and wife Kelcey of Brownwood. She is also survived her niece, Jamie Wiatrek, many other nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Edna Mae Nelson and Janet Eoff; and her brother, Alfred Johnson.
