A Brownwood man and a woman who were arrested together at a Brownwood residence in December on drug charges were sentenced recently in 35th District Court.
    Buddy Allgood, 51, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance — drug free zone and was sentenced to 25 years in prison, according to information from District Attorney Micheal Murray’s office.
    Allgood also pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance — drug free zone and was sentence to 10 years in prison.
     Jessica Netherton, 31, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance — drug free zone and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Netherton also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
    Sheriff’s deputies arrested the pair after serving a search warrant at a Brownwood home and seizing 7 grams of methamphetamine.   
    In other recent sentencings, according to information from Murray’s office:
    Lillian Esther Mann Baker pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
    Jacob Gomez, on probation for possession of a controlled substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to six years in prison. Gomez pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 18 months in state jail.
    Jeffery Dewayne Whitehead pleaded guilty to evading arrest and was sentenced to five years in prison.
    Sean Jeffery Smith, on probation for assault family violence — occlusion, was revoked and sentenced to four years in prison. Smith, on probation for possession of a controlled substance was revoked and sentenced to 12 months in state jail.
    Chance Schaefer, on probation for delivery of a controlled substance — drug free zone, was revoked and sentenced to three years in prison.
    Darryan Alexandria Solis please guilty to possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail.
    Frederick Lee Hemphill pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana — drug free zone and possession of a controlled substance — drug free zone and was sentenced to seven years in prison.
    Jerrod Scott Cyr pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Cyr also pleaded guilty to burglary of a habitation and possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
