Two Brownwood men will host a small fundraiser concert event later this month in an effort to raise money for school supplies for local kids.

Zakary Webb and Marlon Hamilton are selling raffle tickets for people to attend “A Dinner And A Show” on July 28th at 5p.m. at the Adams Street Community Center (511 E. Adams St.)

The fundraiser will entail a meal and a concert performed by Webb and Hamilton — who make up the local music group TYME (Two Young Men Entertainment).

Webb said a large portion would go toward the school supplies for kids who attend the Boys & Girls Club of Brown County.

Webb said the concert will be “really fun,” as he and Hamilton are “interested in doing something different.”

The music group currently has this event on its Facebook page, which says, “This event will help TYME Guys sponsor a number of kids with school supplies for the 2016-17 school year, as well as funding other events held from ‘TYME TO TYME’ this year and the following years so our community can come together and simply enjoy ourselves with fun, food and, most importantly, family.”

Tickets are $10, which includes a meal and one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the front door at $3 apiece, while meal tickets are $7. Webb said patrons could buy as many raffle tickets as they want.
