EARLY — Drive through, and load ‘em up.

That’s the word from Freedom Fellowship, 1040 Early Blvd. in Early, about its food give-away Saturday, Sept. 17.

Beginning at 9 a.m., “everybody is welcome,” church member Rose Daunts said. “They don’t have to do a thing. Just drive up.”

It will be first-come first-served and will last until the food is gone.

Freedom Fellowship as had several of the food give-aways.

The church’s pastor, Jim Maxwell, said earlier the purpose of the church is to give out. He said the Bible teaches that “our purpose is to make a difference and reach out to people that are in need, and we just basically want to say to everybody that we love them. The gospel is all about loving God and loving people.”

Food for the give-aways comes from the Open Door Church food pantry in Burleson.
