Officer Kelly Marsh responded to an alarm call 11:30 p.m. at 420 Early Boulevard, the Leon River Mercantile Western store. Marsh arrived and located a suspicious vehicle parked in the rear of the building. The vehicle had clothing items in the vehicle that appeared to be from inside the store.
Marsh and deputy Mason Fabbiani, who arrived to back up Marsh, entered the store through a rear door that had been forced open. Marsh and Fabbiani located a male, later identified as Lorah, who tried to hide behind a shipping box in the rear of the store.
The male had several other items he was carrying to the car, police said. Lorah was taken into custody without incident.
