The September session of the Brown County Grand Jury returned indictments against two men in unrelated cases alleging sexual assaults of children.
The panel returned a three-count indictment for sexual assault of a child against Brannon Reiger, 31, of Zephyr, according to information from District Attorney Micheal Murray’s office.
Reiger is accused by indictment of committing sexual assaults against a girl under 17 on July 21, 2017 and July 24, 2017, and against a second girl under 17 on Aug. 1, 2017, court records in the Brown County District Clerk’s office state.
Reiger was arrested Sept. 15, 2017 and released three days later on bonds totaling $100,000, Brown County Jail records state. Reiger was arrested on Jan. 1 on bond withdrawal warrants and was released a day later on bonds with a different bonding company, again totaling $100,000.
In the other case, Dustin Ray Aguirre, 19, of Brownwood, was indicted for aggravated sexual assault of a child and sexual assault.
Aguirre is accused by indictment of sexually assaulting a girl under 17 on June 21, 2018. Aguirre is also accused of the sexual assault of another female on June 29, 2018.
