A woman called 9-1-1 early Saturday morning and reported she was being kidnapped after leaving a party, but police learned a different story: the woman allegedly assaulted the designated driver for the night after he refused to take her back to the party.
Early police arrested Rachel Dawn Miller, 29, of Comanche, on charges of assault family violence and public intoxication, and on an open container violation, Brown County Jail records state.
According to an email from Early police:
Officers responded at 2 a.m. to a business parking lot on a kidnapping report. When officers arrived, the caller said a male wouldn’t take her back to a party.
The male said he was the designated driver for the night and the female had been drinking. He had to work in the morning so they left to go home in Comanche.
The female decided she wanted to return to party and male wouldn’t take her back. The female began hitting the male, so he pulled into the parking lot, where the female called 9-1-1.
